Raimo Kantola

Current research interests are in network and system security, trust and reputation, security policy management, privacy, software defined networking and 5G and Beyond. We have created a new trust driven Internet architecture particularly favoring the interests of the battery powered mobile devices where a cloud based security agent of the user at network edge protects the air interface and the mobile device from attacks originating in the Internet. All flows in the system are admitted by policy, policies are created as automatically as possible and evidence is ubiquitously collected and systematically aggregated and quickly used by policy enforcement to disfavor or block malicious sources.
