Description

Concluded his first Postdoctoral studies at Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden, Germany, holding the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship. After this Postdoctoral period, he became a research associate at the same institute, as a member of the Complex Structural Components Group. Since 1.2020, he is a Postdoctoral researcher within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Aalto University. His main expertise and research interests are: variable-stiffness fiber-reinforced composite materials and structures, buckling & post-buckling, damage and failure modeling, viscoelastic behavior,  optimization, and advanced manufacturing of fiber-reinforced composites.
