Postdoctoral researcher in lignocellulosic biomass conversion by catalytic reactions


The group of Industrial Chemistry focuses on teaching and research related to chemical reaction engineering and reactor design.


Job description

The topic of research for this Postdoctoral position will be Lignocellulosic biomass conversion to fuel blends and chemicals with catalytic process.



You should have ambition to pursue an academic career. In addition, you should have interest in and be able to contribute to the teaching tasks of the courses the group is in charge of, i.e. Chemical Reaction Engineering & Reactor Design.


The candidate should also have:

-          PhD degree in a suitable field

-          Proven publication record in a related field

-          Good written and oral communication skills in English

-          Experience in carrying out independent project-based work and working in a highly collaborative environment



The salary is determined according to the salary system of Aalto University and depends on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
