Postdoctoral Researcher in Applied Algebraic Geometry

The postdoctoral researcher will work in the research group of Kaie Kubjas. The position is for one year with start date September 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.


We look for scholars who are completing, or have completed within the past 6 years, their doctoral studies in a relevant field of study. The candidates are required to have a strong mathematical background in applied algebra, algebraic geometry, polynomial optimization, statistics or mathematical biology. The position requires fluent skills in the English language.

The expected starting salary is approximately 3600 €/month. The contract includes occupational health care benefits and a holiday bonus.
