Donor Engagement Manager, annual and online giving

Your role and goals

We are looking for an experienced candidate with a solid background in fundraising from a wide audience, with emphasis on online giving. We value your enthusiasm in online giving through top-notch digital solutions, know-how about online marketing, and an understanding of gamification. You are eager to build an annual giving program that will grow our community of donors, including alumni and small companies. You understand why, how, when and where people are donating, and what they expect from the online services in donor engagement. Events and campaigns, online and offline, are a part of your portfolio. You act according to Aalto's values of responsibility, courage and collaboration. You will actively contribute to our goal to be among the best globally in higher education fundraising and donor engagement.

Your skills

You are an open and innovative professional with solid experience in different aspects of online fundraising. Your working style is dynamic, collaborative and solution oriented. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and a desire to grow in understanding of the University development field. We value your ability to build a positive atmosphere among your stakeholders and any experience in sales. A university degree is an advantage. In this role you will be working together with our donors in solving complex challenges and educating future experts.

Your network and team

The donor engagement team at Aalto works closely with the University leadership and the entire Aalto community to create and to maintain long-term donor relationships. You collaborate closely with the major gift officers on the same team, the alumni team and representatives of all six Aalto schools. Your close network includes also the corporate engagement and CRM teams, marketing and communications, and outside partners supporting the online fundraising.
