Aalto University is now looking for a
BUSINESS DEVELOPER (smart mobility)
to join a team of research experts with pool of mentors in Aalto School of Engineering for European Institute of Technology funded project: AntiTrash.
AntiTrash is developing an automatic detection of trash or damage in a shared vehicle or public transport with complementing new interior materials for car-sharing purposes, nanotechnology for odor detection and interior air quality assurance.
What you’ll do
You’ll actively identify partners for the project and negotiate with them. You´ll also prepare commercialization paths to meet the potential client’s demand. Important task is to make go-to market plan for the services and products of the project and map out different commercialization options e.g. start-up establishment.

After the project, there is a possibility that you could become part of the new deep tech startup as a CEO or Business Director.
You are employed by Aalto University for the duration of the project. The project is already ongoing. The project lasts until the end of year 2021. The position can be either full-time or part-time depending on your skills and role. The place to work is in Finland.
- Fluency in English and Finnish language
- Experience in business development, commercialization and entrepreneurship
- Ability to survey market potential via digital tools and remote interviews
- Possibility to travel according to Covid19 restrictions
- Ability to work with people from different backgrounds
- Excellent teamwork, negotiation and communications skills
