The Learning Centre governs Open Access Fund Pilot

Aalto University has reserved an OA Pilot Fund of 120 000 euros for advancing the visibility and impact of Aalto research with open access publishing methods during 2017.

In addition to advancing open access publishing, the pilot aims to collect information about current practices at Aalto.

The pilot funds open access publishing of journal and conference articles only (i.e. APC charges).

Department of Applied Physics Professor Olli Ikkala received his third Advanced Grant from the European Research Council (ERC) on 11 April 2024. The funding amounts to €2.5 million and the project will run for five years.
