The entire Maarintie 8 (TUAS) building will start using the Abloy Protec2 Cliq locking system

This change concerns all users of the building who have an office key.

These keys will be replaced by new CLIQ keys. Jari-Pekka Ruonio will distribute new keys between 25 and 27 October. Old keys can be used until all changes in the locking system have been made.

The changes will be started on 30 October and completed as planned by 5 December. If you already have a CLIQ key to another campus building, you will not need a new key, as new access rights can be programmed in your current key. Key access rights are valid for 20 hours at a time and are activated by inserting the key into wall units installed in the building walls, which are also called “key refresh points.” The Maarintie 8 building includes several wall units.

These changes do not have any impact on working hours monitoring or access-controlled doors, and these will continue to use the same codes as before.

The PROTEC2 CLIQ system is already in use on campus in Dipoli, the Harald Herlin Learning Centre, Building T and the temporary facilities of Haukilahti upper secondary school.
