Target group and prerequisitesThe program is designed for business leaders and managers responsible for making and implementing commercial decisions. The program is also suitable for marketing and sales professionals.
The Diploma in Commercial Excellence program gives you perspectives and concrete tools to reassess your commercial strategy and success factors for the future. You will learn how to implement value-based, customer-centric thinking in marketing and sales and understand what needs to be done when executing your plan.
The program can be adapted to your personal development needs and time frame. The diploma consists of two core modules (3 + 3 days), one elective module (2-3 days), and an online course of your choice. The elective module can be chosen from the selection of topics offered in different Aalto EE programs. All modules can also be taken as a stand-alone for an individual fee.
The two core modules of the program focus on strategic marketing management and customer-centricity and business model development. We will cover the key concepts of marketing as well as give insights into developing organizational capabilities in strategic marketing excellence. You will gain state-of-the-art methods for analyzing and modeling your business and competition and learn a systematic approach to explore and validate new business opportunities.
The program updates the mindset and the approach to strategic marketing and customer-centricity as sources of competitive advantage. You will personally develop as a marketer and marketing-minded executive while also ensuring the strategic marketing excellence of your organization.
Teaching takes place at Aalto EE's premises in Helsinki.
