InstituteQ, the foremost quantum community of Finland, is organising its second colloquium on June 16! The event brings together professionals, students and others interested in everything quantum. The main speaker for the second colloquium is Prof. Dr. Jürgen Mlynek of the EU Quantum Flagship. The lecture, starting at 2 p.m., discusses the future of quantum technologies. You can participate both online or on-site at the Otaniemi campus.

The second InstituteQ colloquium takes place on Thursday, June 16 at 2 p.m both online via stream and on-site at the Lumituuli auditorim in Dipoli. The speaker for the event is Prof. Dr. Jürgen Mlynek, Chair of the EU Quantum Flagship Advisory Board and recent honorary doctor at Aalto. His talk is titled "Quantum Flagship – The Way Ahead: How Europe Is Driving the Future of Quantum Technologies". 

The European Union has created the Quantum Flagship, it’s groundbreaking ten-year endeavour worth €1 billion, to pave the way for the second quantum revolution. Since its official launch in 2018, the European quantum fleet has considerably expanded amidst an increasingly competitive global race for breakthroughs. Prof. Mlynek's lecture will present a bird’s-eye view of the international quantum landscape and Europe’s plans to stay ahead of the curve in the future.
