Good Life Engine: Finding your balance

Learn lessons from martial arts to find your inner balance!
Decorative banner: Text in the middle says Good Life Engine. On the background the bottom half is covered with yellow flowers. Next to the text an illustrated character in orange pants and green-and-white shirt.

Martial arts can teach us how to sensitize ourselves to feel our inner balance and the external forces affecting us.

In the first Good Life Engine open session of 2023, we have a workshop by Johannes Kaira on balance, feel, and efficiency. In addition, GLE teachers will introduce topics such as Wabi-sabi and “Ichi-go ichi-e”, or knowing in which time to live.

Johannes Kaira is an AVP teacher, an Architect MSc, and a Judo coach. He has been developing entrepreneurial courses like Art, Life and Entrepreneurship and Startup Experience and is one of the initiators of Good Life Engine. He combines the teaching philosophy of Judo with entrepreneurial courses to encourage students to pursue simplicity, efficiency, and balance in their actions.

Good Life Engine is an Aalto Ventures Program course that helps you develop habits and routines for a more balanced life. The monthly workshops are open to all and free to attend.
