My research focuses on the theoretical and empirical examination of consumer’s judgment of value towards products and brands. In my most recent research projects, I examine the dynamics of fashion-style cycles, the psycho-economic mechanisms of valuation of luxury products and how production procedures (e.g., automation vs handmade) affect product authenticity.
I published my research in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, Journal of Product Innovation Management, The Journal of the Royal Society, or Current Directions in Psychological Science. I taught various marketing, branding, product innovation, and strategy-related courses on various levels (BA, MBA, MsTech, MEng) at universities such as Nanyang Technological University, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the Copenhagen Business School, or Bocconi University Milan.
