Reasons for rejection in master's admissions

Aalto University received 17492 applications in the 2024 master's admissions. In the 2024 admissions, there is a maximum of 1689 study places available.

Applicants meeting the general eligibility criteria for master's studies were evaluated and ranked according to the evaluation criteria decided in advance for each study option. The applications are compared to each other and the best applicants are admitted. The study-option-specific evaluation criteria are informed on the web pages of the study options.

Since the number of study places is restricted, unfortunately not all eligible applicants can be offered admission.

Study options are not obligated to fill all available study places. The maximum quota of each study option is informed in Studyinfo.fi.

Please find below general information about the reasons for rejection in the 2024 admissions.
