We are amid a revolution of work, which started already long before the pandemic. Making sense of the future of work can feel tricky in the middle of a constant information overflow. This course is supported with academic research and references packaged in a way that is easy to access. In this course, we will look at how the roles of the individual, organisations and society have changed and how it affects how we work today and in the future.

In this course, we will look at how the roles of the individual, organisations and society have changed and how it affects how we work today and in the future. The course is an open online course. The course material is divided into five (5) chapters.

Self-directed studying

  1. Find the course here.
  2. Get acquainted with the course contents. The course is divided into five chapters, which all have at least three sections.
  3. After each section, there will be either a multiple-choice quiz or self-reflection questions.
  4. In order to pass the course, you will need to pass all quizzes and open questions.
  5. After successfully completing the course and paying the course fee, you will receive a Certificate and 2 ECTS from Aalto University. If you are an Aalto degree student, you don't have to pay the course fee to receive the Certificate and ECTS.

Enrollment options

  1. Register now for the course. For Aalto University students, remember to enrol on the course Future of Work MNGT-C1003 on Sisu if you want to receive 2 ECTS.
  2. You can choose to either audit the course for free or pay a course fee during or after completion of the course. Once paying the course fee, you will receive a Certificate and 2 ECTS from Aalto University. Aalto University students receive the ECTS and a free Certificate automatically after completing the course.
  3. In order to access all course materials, you will have to pay the course fee. Upon completing the course and paying the course fee, your electronic Certificate and instructions for applying for 2 ECTS from Aalto University will be emailed to you. If you only want to read and view the course content, you can audit the course for free.
  4. You can share your course certificates in the Certifications section of your LinkedIn profile, on printed resumes, CVs, or other documents.
