Human-Centered Design and Planning

Aalto University/Unto Rautio

Designing and producing enjoyable living environments, from physical urban space to digital applications, require a deep understanding of human behavior, environmental boundaries and the consequences of decisions made in the creation processes. By researching the methods and tools used when developing new products, services and environments, we can improve life-quality and create a more sustainable society. Human-Centered Design and Planning connects research on the methodology of human-centric approaches and design processes in all scales.
