Aalto Urban Solutions group
Through a human-centred lens, the combined expert area of this group covers urban environments, their management, development, ecosystems and culture from technical, economic and socio-cultural perspectives. This includes the study and innovation in the domains of built environment, technological systems, society, business, law and art.
The Living+ Platform functions as a coordinator for this group, which includes people from five different research groups at the Department of Built Environment in the School of Engineering, and three departments in the School of Art, Design and Architecture.
The Aalto Urban Solutions group cooperates closely with the Helsinki Institute of Urban and Regional Studies (Kaupunkitutkimusintituutti KATI) at the University of Helsinki.
