Summer of Startups’ Demo Day and Graduation Ceremony
Summer of Startups is a first-of-its-kind collaboration project between Aalto Entrepreneurship Society, Hanken Entrepreneurship Society and Helsinki University Entrepreneurship society. Aalto University and Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation, have been the funders of the this program.
Two months ago, Summer of Startups selected 10 of the most promising student startup teams. Participants from 10 different nationalities spent this summer working on their prototype with the best coaches, mentors, entrepreneurs and investors in the country to give them a hand in the process.
The hot summer days at the Garage have been filled with progress and setbacks, learning and iterating and now the teams are ready to show us what they’ve got! The teams will present their final pitches and a distinguished jury will evaluate and choose the winning team that will be awarded with a trip to Silicon Valley this fall.
