Study abroad
Art and Design
The Bachelor's degree from the Aalto University School of Art and Design includes an international study period. The University has a wide range of student exchange and trainee internship partners in art universities all over the world. International Affairs Center (IAC) grants are available for trainee internships connected to studies for a period of three months.
Economics
The Aalto University School of Economics student exchange program offers the possibility for BSc/MSc students to spend one semester at a partner university. The study abroad period is an integrated part of the degree studies. After your stay you transfer the credits towards your BSc or MSc degree as your minor, Intenational Study Module. You may include one international exchange period per degree programme, i.e., you may go on exchange once during your BSc studies and once during your MSc studies. Selection for the student exchange program takes place once a year. Scholarships for the study abroad are awarded from the School of Economics funds.
Technology
The Aalto University School of Science and Technology wants to support the internationalization of its students by awarding scholarships for those going abroad to study or carry out a placement. Going abroad will not have a negative effect on your studies at School of Science and Technology provided you plan the studies carefully and consult with the staff of your faculty. Of course, the School of Science and Technology staff will assist you during the exchange period as well, if needed.
