School of Economics
The research at the Aalto University School of Economics focuses on business expertise, which is based on multidisciplinary international research and intensive cooperation with society and industry. Its research focus areas are globalization and competitiveness, financial markets and services, information economy and business networks research.
School, Arts, Design and Architecture
The Aalto University School of Art and Design carries out wide-ranging research in the field of art and design. Areas of research include design, art education, visual culture and audio-visual presentation and digital media.
Schools of Technology
The Aalto University Schools of Technology are highly committed to high-quality scientific research, which covers all the main fields of architecture and technology. The four schools are divided into departments and separate institutes. Among these, the Schools have several Centres of Excellence in various fields.
