− Providing the 5 000 staff members and 20 000 students with information and inspiration amidst changes is critical as we are building an Aalto culture based on top expertise, agility and renewal. In communications, we must also constantly focus on the large stakeholder groups that support the building of Aalto University and whom we want keep as partners in the development of the university, explains Tuula Teeri, President of Aalto University.
− I’m pleased that we have been joined by an expert who has 15 years’ experience of different areas of communications at international listed companies. Hanna is an expert on such fields as strategy communications and has also written a book about the subject. This expertise will be useful as we put the Aalto strategy into effect. Making the research and educational activities of Aalto University internationally more attractive is one of the most important tasks of the Communications Director and Hanna Maula is well-placed to do this. We are uniquely placed to make Aalto University a world class institute of higher learning in the next few years, she adds.

A strong spirit of renewal, internationalism and new and bold initiatives, such as the Aalto Design Factory, also help to make Aalto University more attractive, says Hanna Maula.
