Ideas contest to improve the quality of life

10.01.2012 On the 10th of January 2012, Aalto University launched an ideas contest open to all at ideas.aalto.fi. The contest is also to invite new ideas from potential students to improve the quality of life in the urban environment, bearing in mind sustainability and the environment. There are three categories in the contest: Art & Design, Business, and Technology.

School of Arts, Design and Architecture began operations at the start of the year

02.01.2012 The former Aalto University School of Art and Design and the Department of Architecture of the School of Engineering have merged to form Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture. The new school began operations on 1 January 2012.
