Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest

On Saturday October 2rd the Nordic Collegiate Programming Contest will take place at the Aalto University School of Scinece and Technology.

In the contest three-person teams try to solve as many programming problems as possible in five hours. Each team has one computer, and the allowed programming languages are C, C++ and Java.

The contest is open to students and personnel at Aalto University.

The best student team may continue to Bremen, German for the North-Western European Regional Contest in November, and if they succeed there, to the World Finals in Egypt next spring. To qualify as a student team, all members must be students that a) were born in 1987 or later, or b) have started their studies in 2007 or later. Extensions can be granted for interruptions in studies caused by military service or prolonged illness, or similar.
