Open Doors at Aalto Design Factory

23.03. / 09:00 - 16:00

Location: Design Factory, Betonimiehenkuja 5, 02150, Espoo, Finland, FI

Welcome to the Aalto Design Factory Open Doors 2010!

Tuesday 23 March 2010 from 9.00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Design Factory of Aalto University- the experimental co-creation platform for education, research and application of product development - invites everyone to come and meet Aalto University students, researchers and other partners of the Factory on the Open Day at Betonimiehenkuja 5 C.

On the Open Day, you have an excellent opportunity to personally experience the ‘passion-based student-centric learning culture’ of Aalto University. The interdisciplinary course of the Factory, Product Development Project (PDP) of 2010 is soon in its final stage: the 13 interdisciplinary student projects started in September 2009 are now in the manufacturing, assembling and testing phase. The last crazy weeks before Product Design Gala are full of work!

Come over and see the Factory in action! Don’t miss the chance to discuss with the creators of the future: our enthusiastic, innovative, hard-working, beautiful students!

We would love to see students, developers, managers and other representatives of industry, academia and the media on the Open Day!

Please also stay tuned for another event coming soon:

The D&I seminar and exhibition of spring 2010, the Product Design Gala, will be held at the Design Factory on 23 April 2010.  Please see  http://pdp.fi/  for up-to-date information.
