M.Sc. (Tech.) Pavan Ramkumar will defend the dissertation “Advances in modeling and characterization of human neuromagnetic oscillations” on May 7th, 2012. In this thesis, methods were developed to study the brain under naturalistic stimulation, and during rest. Magnetoencephalography - the measurement of the weak neuronal magnetic signals outside the head - was used to record rhythmic brain activity in those two conditions.
