Tax deductibility for companies under Finnish taxation

All donations between EUR 850 and EUR 250,000 made to the Aalto University by an organisation (corporations, co-operatives, etc.) are tax deductible under Article 57 of the Income Tax Act This also applies to donations made to the Aalto University through the Confederation of Finnish Industry and Employers Foundation.

In order to be eligible for a tax deduction, the corporation deed of donation must be accompanied by a notification of donation in tax return section 370, "Donations made" (Annetut lahjoitukset) and section 371, "Deductible percentage" (Vähennyskelpoinen osuus).

Foundations and associations

Although foundations and associations are for the most part subject to the same regulations as companies, donations made by non-profit organisations are not tax deductible.
