Why do we want your support?
Aalto University is a foundation-based university. Its funding is comprised of state foundation principal as well as donations from private persons, companies and other foundations, all investing in a common future and competitive edge.
Although the prerequisites for a top international multidisciplinary university are already in place, donations play a crucial role in achieving university goals. Now there is a truly unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a new Finnish university.

How do I make a donation?
Participating in the Aalto University collection is a direct and important investment in future movers and shakers, as for each euro donated to Aalto University by the 30th of June 2011 the Finnish Government will invest EUR 2.50 in our institution. In addition to this, all donations between EUR 850 and EUR 250,000 made to Aalto University by an organisation or company are tax deductible under Article 57 of the Income Tax Act. There are several different channels and ways to support Aalto University.
