Come and meet the students - face to face!
Meeting the students face-to-face is an excellent way to build your employer image and to tell about your open positions and future recruitment needs. At their best, personal contacts with the students support your recruiting processes. Students appreciate face-to-face interaction with the employers and are interested to find out more about the career opportunities and daily work duties in your organization.
As there are various kinds of employers there is also a bunch of different ways to meet the students. This is why we always tailor our services to meet your individual needs. Below you will find some examples of meeting the students on Otaniemi campus.
Meet the students on campus
You will have your own company stand in the most suitable building lobby on our campus. There you'll meet different kinds of students on their way to lectures and lunch in their familiar school environment. We promote your presence in our event calendar and take care of the practical arrangements in the school for you.
Recruiting events
We organize annually several recruiting events. The traditional Summer Job Day and Built Environment are held in the beginning of the year when summer job hunting is active.
We also strive for meeting the demand of new recruiting events, and so we have picked up two new themes for our events. The first new field was game industry, and the recruiting event Aalto in the Game was organized for the first time in April 2012 and again on 11th April 2013. The second new recruiting event was the Thesis Market which was held also in springtime in 2012 and 2013. Thesis Market is targeted to Master’s level students and employers with open thesis assignments.
We also arrange annually the well-known TalentIT Career Fair in November.
Tailored employer events
We are happy to organize all kinds of tailored employer events from lectures and workshops to cocktail events on our campus. Our personnel will help you to plan and execute the tailored event for your needs and will take care of event marketing to the target group students.
