Strategic Support for Research
The Strategic Support for Research team supports the Aalto University Management Team in drafting research related policies and in planning the allocation of funding. Together with the academic community the team creates and develops modes of operation that will promote and support research, such as the tenure track, doctoral studies and new openings aimed at strengthening and promoting research. Other important themes and instruments that require university policies and support are centres of excellence, national doctoral programmes, Strategic Centres for Science, Technology and Innovation, FiDiPro and research infrastructures.
