Congress consultancy
Aalto University and Espoo Convention & Marketing have a co-operation agreement, which aim is to support inviting international scientific congresses and meetings, planning and arrangements in Espoo.
According to the agreement the services of congress consultant are free of charge to international congresses and meetings hosted by Aalto University and the scientific community of Espoo.
Congress consultant provides consultancy e.g. in following matters:
- Inviting international congresses and meetings, gathering the presentation material, getting representative photos of Finland and Espoo, borrowing DVD:s etc.
- Planning the budget, finding out the financial options and VAT issues
- Making the task list and scheduling
- Finding the conference venue and accommodation facilities
- Planning the printing material
- Planning the free-time program and accompanying persons’ activities (please see examples of programs in Espoo http://www.visitespoo.fi)
- Applying the hospitality from the city of Espoo
